The Sourcing Table does Australia (Dulwich Wine Society) : 100% Whole bunch fermented Cabernet! Unoaked, spent 1 year on the lees. The purest expression of fruit possible. So intense! Like diving into a blackcurrant bush, but far more pleasant. No greenness at all despite being whole bunch. Remarkable. Not complex, but very pure. Quality: 4/4 Price: 1/3 X factor/ interest: 3/3 Total: 8/10

First experience with Timo M’s Cab - def not my style. Dark garnet-ruby, semi-translucent in appearance. Fragrant, somewhat plush nose bringing ripe-ripe blackcurrant, herbs, pepper. Palate is all about juice, m-bodied, lacks structure and finesse, just giving it away. Jammy, easy-going style for those who enjoy that. No particular identity or attraction.

Medium ruby colour. Medium (+) and developing nose with blackcurrant, black pepper, green bell pepper, blackberry, oak and violet. Medium (+) taste of blackcurrant, black pepper, oak, cloves, blackberry, stems, dark plum and vanilla. Long and dry finish. Medium acidity. Medium tannins. Medium body. A very good and vibrant Cabernet Sauvignon. Drink in five to fifteen years. Goes well with beef or lamb.
