Balance. Is the key word. Not pushy, not wild or head on. Fresh and harmonius. Not a 100p - definately not - but at striking example of great craftmanship. Quite fruity and with almost invisible tannins that still helps with the structure. Tasted a long side Flor de Pingus with, although also a great wine, seems slightly “thinner” that its older brother. Less concentrated overall. Alexis: sweet delectability. Some fruit and body but it’s in such balance that it’s a pleasure to imbibe. Mitch says it’s a 98/99. Drinks easy and delectable.

Amazing bouquet. Nice fruit with a hin of cayenne and cinnamon. Delicious all around. A bit tight even after hours of airing

Deep Purple. Nose had strong caramel/vanilla with buttered popcorn, black fruits plum, black cherry, licorice. This is a special wine - it has many nuanced flavors and a long finish. Bold but smooth.

A really great wine but for a demoniac price. Try Flor de Pingus and Psy this year, infinitely cheaper and really closed to the Master

40th anniversary tasting (L'Esprit du Vin - Axelborg) : My notes from this fantastic gigantic tasting are in general extremely short (because of the many wines) but with ratings. We spent a whole day tasting and tasting quality wines. This wine: Presented by Peter Sisseck. Of course way too young. Needs many years in the cellar.
