Fresh peas, asparagus, bitter herbs, and oyster shell- briny notes on the nose. On the palate it is simultaneously rich with great dry extract, yet with a crystalline level of precision. It is stony, savory, steely, salty and in a supportive role veg more than fruit on the palate. Stony and savory notes, with peas, bitter herbs, root vegetable, and fresh cut hay on the palate that is simultaneously laser sharp yet broad, all with terrific balance. There is a …

Much better than the last one for some reason. Brilliant cutting minerality. Lemon. Crisp.

Sweeter at PnP then I would expect. But also mineral. Honeysuckle.

Like around a year ago again quite cheesy on nose and palate, off dry, flabby and not very harmonious. There is lots of acidity and impressive length, but I can't say I liked it as much as last time. 88-90

Smells like very spicy Veltliner. Very peppery and quite dry on the palate. Tannic ly dry on the palate.

On the nose a slight lactic note, also sweeter, almost honeyed yellow stone fruit and more exotic fruit compared to Spiegel. More richness and creaminess on the palate as well, still fresh and mineral with an even more impressive finish. I'm not sure about this one - certainly excellent but there isn't much of Grüner Veltliner typicity. Hold. 91-93+

Amphorae wines : Lighter than Preisinger, but not transparent as well. Tiny amount of bubbles. Sweeter, bitter sweet nose, as well as citrus. Soft Mosel like sweetness on the palate, soft bite of white pepper, mild smoke.

Impressive at first taste, this is really succulent, but also incredibly mineral, in a rock dust sort of way, with some herbs and lemon, too, but the biggest impression is of rocks, and high-slurpability.
