Deepening goldness with a hint of green. Smells autumnal, yet it's dominated by a rounded smell and taste of lemon pie with a hint of peaches. Satisfying mouthfeel, yet there is far more happening at the start of the tasting curve than towards the end. I have had wines from this address that have been more layered and nuanced as they come into maturity, but I guess the vintage has an impact in this respect. It is, no doubt, outstanding.

Strålende vin. Flott duft dominert av grapefrukt og litt tørket appelsinskall, begynner å bli moden. Lekker i munnen, gode syrer og lang ettersmak.

Popped and poured. Fairly dark for a young Riesling – medium golden with green shades. Yellow apples, tropical fruit, white flowers and crushed rocks on the nose and palate. Absolutely lovely – smooth mouth feel, great concentration and superb balance between the sweet fruit and the fresh acidic finish. I’m honestly making an effort not to drink all my Rieslings young, but it’s damn hard when they’re this good.
