In a prime spot. Random bottle in the cellar and no real experience with this producer. Impressed with the precision and depth of fruit and integrated oak and tannin.

So Howell mountain. A little hot and slight bitter early, day 2 much smoother. Classic cab notes. This should be good for a while.

Taste of howell Mountain Event. This was a first time taste for me. I found the cabernet to be black cherry fruit with a touch of herbs on the nose, more of the same on the palate, polished, medium body, medium/long finish.
