[4/5] Very drinkable, but it doesn't stand out. A little bit of tartness would have made this delicious. As it is, the nose is very mellow aroma of currant, black predominantly. The taste is subtle and somewhat dry with plumb and a hint of cherry being the dominant flavors. The tannins are medium and almost overwhelm the rest of the taste. 87-88: On the PnP, this wine has notes of plum and hint of graphite. Palate is fairly fruit forward, with some grainy notes and a dry finish that owes more to fruit tannins than oak.
