Audeant Wines Pinot Noir

Really good. Strawberries, raspberries, cedar, some cocoa powder, good acidity and slightly grippy tannins. Great value

Tis was solid, but the tannins seemed slightly rustic through the middle to me; more red fruited than the 18 with some savory notes; I think I would have enjoyed it more with food and it has potential to get better in the cellar

Some barnyard and dark blue fruits although still relatively light.

Pleasant creamy fruit with decent intensity, not overly complex though

Return to Willamette; 7/2/2023-7/8/2023 (Portland & Willamette) : From NYSA, Luminous Hills, Cherry Grove. Don’t remember running into NYSA as a vineyard very much before but it was at a lot of the places we visited this year. Rounder in style. Some earth. Well balanced. Bit of the drying tannin. Darker fruits and maybe almost a bit of cranberry. Some floral. Enjoyable wine and good value.

Pale ruby, on the nose red cherry, sour cherry, raspberry, strawberry, redcurrant, cranberry, cola, little toast. Mid body with good acidity and grippy tannins. To taste more sour cherry, cola, red cherry, raspberry, strawberry, redcurrant, cranberry, leather, toast & smoke. Long finish. Just got better and better through the evening. Lovely balance, young but very drinkable and plenty more to come.

Beautiful Pinot with plenty of structure and fruit. Probably a year or two away from being in a prime spot. Lovely now.
