Winsome notes of plums and blackcurrants on the nose and palate, quite fleshy and plump. Fairly plush and rich but the crispness of the vintage balances this well. It does taste quite "ambitious" and I can see why all the critics liked it. It'll be interesting to see how it ages because it could improve, or become a bit syrupy if the crispness drops off.

Served by the glass. Rather opulent than elegant but still soft and with a good persistence. Iron fist in silk glove. The nose is more reserved, stiff and simple. Servido por copas. Más opulento que elegante pero aun así suave y con una buena persistencia. Puño de hierro en guante de seda. En nariz es más reservado, apocado y simple.

Smoke, earth, tobacco, cedar, cherry and floral characteristics are strong here. On the palate the wine displays ripe, juicy red fruits, soft, crisp tannins and ripe red plum and cherry in the finish.

Raspberry, licorice, heavy earth, finishes with lots of tannin

Really nice. A step up from its neighbour in Moulis, Maucaillou. More fragrance, greater body. ***(*)

With good color, it's easy to find the cassis, licorice, smoke, and cherries here. The wine has a softness to the tannins and sweet fruit in the finish.
