Past its prime, but still enjoyable.

surprisingly good for a ''overdate'' wine. Leather (light), astringent enough, acidity fair, last enough in the mouth. A little overdated but still enjoyable. Drink now. The wine looks tawny colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like meaty and black currant (cassis). The body is medium. The wine has smooth texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has low acidity.

Crimson-black; dried cherries, blueberries, prunes; juicy cherry, blackberry, medium-full body, good balance, grainy tannins, lingering finish. Decanted 2 hrs. Rustic cherry/pruney flavours with good acidity and tannins. Good compliment to venison and goose.

Colour - purplish red. Some gradations. Nose - red current, fermented raisins. Palette- red current, fermented raisins. Fairly sweet. Somewhat harsh tanins. Rustic. Abit rough; no delicacy. Don't like the taste. Decanted 1 hour. A modest decline in tannins. But tannins not smooth or well intergrated. Harsh tannins combined with alchohol. 2nd day - most flavours lost. Only harsh tannins remain. Wine has closed. Not worth keeping. Poured down the drain.
