Clear, dark gold or pale Amber, slight oxidative nose, no fruit. Good acid, medium finish, minerality, biscuit notes but the fruit left this a long time ago. Left these too long but this was drinkable although my wife passed on it.

La Paulée dinner (Summer Pavilion, Ritz Carlton, Singapore) : This bottle was one of only 900 from Roux Pere & Fils monopole. Very Meursault golden yellow colour, and so very Meursault on the nose - butter, nuts, caramel, a hint of fresh-baked bread and some butterscotch. Very opulent. La Paulee Dinner (Summer Pavillion @ the Ritz) : Slightly tamed on aromatics with mostly one dimensional expression of butter lemons. On the palate, it is a different story with overindulgent richness of rich buttery lemon cream custard with too much cream and not enough lemons. Flashy with its assets.
