Konrad Giannò Umbria Dan Poggio Petroso

Second degustation after 3 years aging. The wine developed in a very enjoyable ruby juice, with super smooth tannins and aroma of vanilla. The red pepper are now less present. Very drinkable.

This is the first vintage of Dan and is issued in limited production. The wine has a deep ruby colour. The nose is full of red fruits with cherries and spices in particular pink pepper. In the mouth it has a nice freshness and long finish. After some aeration it improved further. I think it will develop well in cellars and will be highly sought after.
