Drinks well now, tannins softened, fierce but digestable acidity and developed aromas and flavours - typically nebbiolo ones. I have sampled quite a number of Langhe 2005s recently and this one joins the pack: not big, considerably acidity, drinking well now, elegance over power.

Decanter for 5 hours and now enjoying with some serious cheese. Nose is almost paralising, so good. Tannins have faded significantly due to decanting which makes it very enjoyable now. Sour cherries, some leather, tar, roses, medium+ acidity. Not too structured, almost velvet like finish - again may be caused by airation.

Beautiful all-in nebbiolo nose, need for decanting as it is quite rough and compact without. Great value for 20 euros at winery.
