TH Estate Wines Syrah L'envol

Maybe 94. Opened 6 hours prior to drinking. I knew it would be young but I wanted to try with a filet mignon. Dried meat, green stems on the nose. It was a big nose and wonderful. Deep, dark purple color. Still strong tannins. Long finish. Much better with dinner than by itself. A really, really nice wine. The issue was my mistake of opening it too early. It needs more time but it is definitely a winner.
