The Hess Collection Chardonnay Hess Shirtail Ranches

This was not for me. Astringent acidity paired with a very heavy dose of vanilla. Almost like it was an unskillfully made cocktail. The vanilla lasts for ages in on your tongue, and no amount of tequila could wash it off after I had two glasses. Was drank with some light apps. This may have been a better match with a filet-o-fish.

Modest wood, well dosed vanilla, in the midtaste there is a kind of confusing fruit that covers the chardonnay impression; still a nice and friendly wine.
