As the name suggests, the individual vineyard for this Cuvee is 'behind the church'. Made from 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay and bottled without any dosage as the Beauforts believe this highlights the mineral notes that come through in wines from Kimmeridgian soil. Bright and citrussy on the nose with hints of grapefruit alongside ripe lemon, this is tense yet generously textured.
