This is awesome. Foradori was right. Trust her. At 3 hours decant, just now opening up. I wish I had another, but I dont have a time machine to 2012 when i got it.

Super bright blueberry fruit with something like sweet tobacco buried underneath. Nicely textured and richly fruited with mouthwatering acidity adding lift to the slightly bitter and green finish. Super vibrant but doesn't come across as too naturalistic.

Very nice and smooth, I definitely agree with "silky." Not lots of taste and smell: some cherry and vanilla aromas? Luxurious. Re-order. Decanted an hour, should do more.

Very nice wine, beautiful, royal purple colour. It has interesting "silky" structure

Tasting at Foradori estate, wine #5. A milder cuvee from a single vineyard made from a single varietal of Teroldego fermented on skins and aged in amphorae for 8 months. Medium+ purple colour, violet hue. Medium+ intensity aroma of blackberries, tobacco, violets, liquorice, lavender. Medium body, lively structure, juicy and crunchy black fruit flavours, floral notes, deep silky texture, medium acidity, medium tannins.

Final bottle. This is quite lovely dark fruits, graphite, woodsy. Bit of funk. Perfect with rich ragu. Drink now.

Not sure about this. Inky purple color. Bigger and more tannins than expected. Lacking the vivacity I usually find in her wines.

Very nice, elegant and round. Black fruit, tobacco and some herbs. Drank straight from the bottle (no decanting). Very soft tannins.

Man, this was so heavy and cumbersome to drink that my wife and I couldn't finish a bottle over three nights. Feels like heavy handed wine making; super extracted, uber ripe fruit. Lacks freshness. We tried and tried to like this but I couldn't even finish a single glass. Stood in sharp contrast to the Teroldego we drank on the mountain.

No really excited with this. Nice minerality with olives and sort of sour red berries. Full bodied, with nice acidity and tannins, but still a bit harsh. Good, but overpriced.

An evening of wines from Trentino/Alto Adige (University Circle) : Jeff thru this in as an extra. I was quite delighted as I had not yet had a chance to try these. A single vineyard offering (Teroldego) that was raised in amphora and then neutral oak. The nose has dark cherries with some herbal notes and even some cocoa powder. Silky texture. Fine tannins. Great acidity. Just a notch down in complexity for me from the Granato, but time may …

This is what wine should be like - absolutely georgeous fruit purity, it's almost like biting a fresh granate fruit full of juiciness. Well integrated and smooth tannins, so smooth you just want to keep playing with the wine in your mouth. Don't expect too much complexity here, however, it's absolutely hedonistic without the usual aspects - no big oak, no polishing, just a rustic and raw sexiness. Great. Cheers!

Wow, I like this wine. Big and brooding with lots of dark cherry, anise and violets. Nice earthy mid and a fairly long finish. Somehow, this kind of reminded us of a Barolo but fuller-bodied and not as elegant (or complex). Tannins are big and chewy yet supple and well-integrated. Everything is balanced out by fairly high acid; this wine is unmistakably Italian. I'm not usually a fan of wines this dense, but the structure supported the weight and extraction …

Fantastic extraction and big, bold fruit. Quite rustic yet refined. Really enjoyed but it is quite young, needs more years in the cellar and hours open didn't do much to round it out. Would buy more.
