Anatolikos Vineyards Natural Red Wine

Deep garnet in the glass. Bit Bretty on the nose and it doesn't go away during the whole drinking experience unfortunately. Full-bodied, high tannins, high acidity. Feels like it has a hole in the middle, like something is missing + that Brett really persists all the way to the end. Will stick to the Fine Mavroudi in this case.

Random wines tasted during service (Oinoscent) : The wine is blend of 60% Mavroudi and 40% Limnio The wine shows high intensity, there is a dense ripe red and black fruit core, a lot of sweet spices, a nice fresh but still decadent savoury profile. In the palate, the wine shows very pure fruit, mostly on the red fruit side, high acidity, ripe red fruit, alcohol heat, tannins with a lot of angles still, medium to long finish. Needs time

Aiolos Tasting (Intercontinental Hotel) : The wine is a blend of 60% Mavroudi, 40% Limnio, 270 days in amphora. The wine is still closed, low intensity of floral, ripe red fruit, spicy and coffee notes, you could even say it has some mineral values. The palate is the same with the nose, coffee, spices, red fruit core, medium body and finish.
