Tanin complètement fondu, beau nez, feuille morte/cuir... il a passé son apogé...

Le nez est floral. La bouche assez intense sur les framboises et la cerise. Les tannins sont bien intégrés avec présence d'une acidité moyenne. Finale assez persistante. Pas mal bon et prêt à boire.

Tobacco and leather on the nose. Dusty red berries and cedar on the palette. Not overpowering and a nice late spring drinker. Decanted for about 3 hours before drinking. I suspect without decanting it would have been very closed off.

Consistent with prior note. More dusky red berries, cherry and cedar. Great QPR.

Le nez ne laissait pas nécessairement présager de défaut dans cette bouteille mais en bouche, c'est un goût métallique qui s'impose. Ça s'estompe un peu avec l'aération mais l'ensemble donne l'impression d'être fatigué. Mauvaise bouteille, décevant.

This needs a good decant - at least an hour before tasting. After an hour, light crimson color with Cooper meniscus. Fresh, dusty cherry, red berries and cedar on the nose; light cherry flavors with sweet but grippy tannins on the palate and finish. This was soooo much better after an hour AND with food.

There following tasting notes were conducted immediately upon opening the bottle with no decant. Initially tasted cedar and leather notes, which slowly subdued over 20 seconds to allow dark fruit and chocolate notes to shine through. Long finish lasted at least 45 seconds. Velvet tannins were evident but not overpowering. After a brief decant the wine opened up and improved significantly. Bu en succ. Pour le prix, déjà approchable et digeste. Soyeux et florale, fruit rouge et acidité moyenne. Les Tanins sont asssez fin, pas le plus long mais rien n'accroche.

Very light crimson core with pale orange rim; elegant and pretty nose, roses galore, some dried strawberries and cherries, cedar, refined; firm tannin, should age nicely with medium term cellaring.
