Drinking window was labeled as 2 years past. Not decanter but should have. Very wet earth yet bright floral at first. Dang this got good for a wine at this price point by the end. Had a decent amount of sediment. I would search more put. Definitely should have had an hour or more decant and I would have rated higher but that was my fault

Rich purple color. Deep and saucy but bright with spiced cranberry sauce, fig paste, smoky blackberries, with pipe tobacco, charcoal pit, and sweet, spiced black tea – lots going on here. Rich texture, velvety tannins, the acidity is vibrant. Tangy black cherries, plum, cranberry jam, with lots of herbal, earthy, spicy elements, an underlying mineral, floral aesthetic. The nose is richer, but expressive and balanced with tones of dark red cherries, plums, black raspberries, chocolate, dusty notes, and some licorice. The Full bodied feel is plush and balanced with medium acidity and chewy, medium+ tannins that has a bit of punch to them. This is a much better effort than the regular Malbec, but it should be and it shows. There is some actual depth and poise to the nose that is broad shouldered and enticing.
