Good, but leaning heavy tertiary and maybe last it's prime. Less fruit and a bitt flat for the price. Still not a bad drink though

Violet petals, ripe black cherries, ripe dark plums, barnyard and black pepper on the nose. Medium + intensity of aromas. The palate is lighter, and at 16, still full of fresh red fruits. It shows flavors of ripe red cherries, ripe raspberries, orange peel, bay leaf and tobacco. Medium + intensity of flavors. Medium + body with medium acid and powder medium tannins. Solid, good drinker. A bit of Brett but otherwise nice fruit and balance

great value bdx and drinking very well. needs maybe 30 minutes open in the bottle. for what i think it lacks in complexity it makes up for in both production quality and price point given the 15 year age, which is drinking very well.
