100% Dolcetto, single vineyard. Again … really top notch wine. Flavourful, fulsome. Served with a slight chill which I think enhances the wine. Nice ruby red intensity. Aromas of cherries, dark berries, smokiness, licorice. Juicy, dark berries, licorice, and a bit of ripe slightly tart red berries. On the mid palate I am getting some tar notes, and some very fine tannins, and a nice swath f minerality to finish. Medium length finish. Overall, medium + acidity, medium weight, good …

One of the better Dolcetto's I have ever had. Full bodied, nice structure, fine dusty tannins, dark berry fruit. Not thick but heavy mouthfeel. Slight bitterness, balsamic tinge. Drinking really nicely now, no hard edges, smooth and balanced.

Voluptuous, fruity, food friendly! Soft tannins, great, rounded mouthfeel. I'd never heard of this producer, but will be heading back for more.

17 euro spesi molto bene.

Drank over the course of two days. Dark, brooding, full bodied Dolcetto. Drank more like a Nebbiolo. Solid wine. I still prefer Pecchenino's entry level Dolcetto.
