Lovely wine, medium bodied, good palate weight, dusty, integrated tannins. The balance is excellent - feels like the wine has a long future in front

Drinking phenomenally well now. Lingers on the palate, evoking blackberry, currant and just a hint of tannins. We enjoyed with a sushi dinner, but it will complement anything. If you have a bottle in your cellar, enjoy! Unfortunately, this was our last one.

Red cherry, cedar, leather, violets on the nose. Medium to full body with bright acidity. Cherry, plum, leather, mushroom, vanilla on the palate. Lovely, long, lingering finish.

A dark and brooding barolo, structured and tight. Not light on it’s feet as you often find in La Morra. More a wine for a juicy steak than for a risotto or pasta dish. Really liked it but leave it for at least 5 years.

This is a yuuuuge wine. Just yuge. 15%. Full bodied. Some nice dark cherry and menthol and the obligatory tar and roses, but it's buried behind a wall of tannins and heat. Not sure which will go first, but this needs years. Open in 2022 and decant.
