Clear, brilliant, pale gold in the glass. Aromas of lemon cream & orange zest, hints of quince with verbena & jasmine bloom, crushed chalk, ginger powder and white pepper. Lithe and elegant on the palate, showing rich yet taut citrus fruit consistent from the bouquet, along with seamlessly melded secodnary depth of minerals, white florals and exotic spices. Medium-bodied and round, with buoyant acid and finely textured structure, finishing with ample length and depth.

Drinks well, but has some runway. Balanced, slightly reductive and good finish. New world with some old world characteristics.

This was really nice bottle from a cool vintage (2019). Restrained citrus , green fruit, and high quality new French oak (45%). Limited mlf notes.

Slightly oxidized, dark gold color. Slight note of sulfur when opening. Despite that, surprisingly good… one I’d like to find when it hasn’t been heat-damaged.

Light lemon flesh in color Steely, high minerality. Seas shore oyster shells. Acidity has faded. At its peak, drink now. Some stone fruit notes. Some tropical notes, and yellow apple. A little round. Medium-minus finish. A nice sipping wine for sure. Salmon dinner by Britt.

Yellow golden. Nose at first is mostly neutral but shows a slight reduction — i.e., some sulfur component, perhaps from mercaptans. Both nose and flavors are dominated by splintery new oak with fruit taking 2nd fiddle. The wine is still in good shape, but you have to like the piney characteristic of low-toast oak. See http://www.bethelheights.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/CHE15.pdf. In rethinking this wine, this bottle may have been slightly corked, judging from reviews elsewhere.

Should have bought more. Crisp clean chard, no oak. Stone fruit with lively acidity and creamy finish. Delicious.

Overall a nice Chardonnay, paired very well with some spicy chicken but lacked complexity and depth of character. Color is pale to medium gold. Med(+) intensity on the nose with aromas of lemon, lemon bar, overripe pear, minerals, yellow peach, and vanilla. On the palate a full body with high acidity with a smooth feel. Medium alcohol. Med(+) intensity with flavors of lemon, lemon rind, white peach, and minerality. No noticable oak flavors. Med(-) finish. Would recommend consuming now and …

Green and golden apples, lemon pith and mango with some subtle creme brulee. The palate is refreshing and lively with a tart edge. The finish is moderately long and ends with some nice oyster shell and salinity. Excellent value ~$19 This note is from day two as there was significant improvement fron day one

Off of restaurant list at premier Omakase restaurant in Manhattan. Wanted something crisp and refreshing and definitely not your typical oaky Chardonnay. This fits the bill! Crisp, bright reminiscent of some Chablis. Chardonnay nose more noticeable compared to the actual taste. Pale colored. Really a bare *hint* of Chardonnay just the way I prefer it. Beautiful pairing w sushi.

Served with sautéed trout. Excellent Oregon Chardonnay with crisp acidity, medium mouth feel, good finish. Second bottle of this wine, with the first tried at the winery in 2017. Look forward to finishing the remainder of this bottle tonight. Wish I had more of this.

Wife loved it. Crisp and very tasty for the price point. Bought 1 bottle along with a few other singles to sample. Don’t buy much white but will buy more of this.

4 Lemon and floral aromas with vibrancy and balance. A great Oregon Chardonnay exemplar. 12.6% with 20% new French oak. Excellent.

Frostily mineral tree fruit aromas. Jelly bean, and a touch of oak on the nose. Palate brings just a little bit more of oak. All neutral barrel fermented, says Mimi. Just a little bit of orange zest to the palate. 20% is the limit of new oak that gets used on the Chardonnay.

Riesling throws it off a little. Or the Riesling I just had. Les like the fruit character - kinda starched. The nose is not much there, maybe reduced because of screw cap?

more cream than oak in the aromas. 20% new wood. some wente clone used. zesty on the palate. great acids. more of a neutral feel to the palate. circus peanut aroma and palate. not unlike a less leesy Buty Connor Lee Chard.

In a blind taste test, this could be easily confused with a Horse Heaven Sauv Blanc. Nose and flavor of lemon grass. Flavor also includes fresh cut hay and steel. This is a unique Chardonnay.

Willamette Valley Wines presents: Pinot in the City (City Winery, Chicago, IL) : Nose: This has a real freshness to it with tones of red and green apples, white fruits, peaches, and some acacia flowers. Taste: Medium bodied with medium+ acidity. This had a nice feel with balanced tones of red apples, peaches, and acacia flowers. Overall: This was a very good chardonnay. There is good balance to it with solid depth.

A bit tart and citrisy but goes well with some cheese I had. Not much oak which is good. Another year of two would make this better.

Round and buttery, but done in a restrained style that reminded me of many of the better RRV Chards. A touch coarse on the palate, perhaps, but this offers plenty of tart green apple and honeycomb flavors that finish harmoniously.
