Excellent stuff, this 100% rolle (vermentino), aged for 10 months, on the fine lees with stirring, for 2/3 in large oak vats and 1/3 in oak barrels. Great intensity, nice complexity, good length. Powerful but fresh. Medium intense aromas of peach, lemon, green melon, pear, butter, vanilla, almond. Dry wine, medium+ acidity, medium body, medium+ intense flavours of lemon, tangerine, green melon, white peach, fennel, almond, toast, butter, iron, flint. Long finish. 14% - €24,70 @ the chateau
