Zarate Rías Baixas Fontecon

Made with Albariño, Caiño Tinto and Espadeiro (a blend therefore a red and white varieties) grown on granite soils, fermented and aged in stainless steel (three months on the fine lees), 12.5% ABV. A rosé that emphasises freshness and cool minerality but has sufficient substance, with a lovely fruit expression (citrus, apple, watermelon and raspberry) and a whiff of smoke, bright acidity and lovely salinity on the finish. Precise and elegant.
