Schlink domaine viticole Pinot Noir Charta Privatwenzer Machtum Ongkaf

Once again a little tight on its own but opened up nicely with coq au vin and later a Brie like cheese. Quite floral and fruity.

Good. Classic light Lux oaked Pinot but a little reticent. With pork cordon blue with mushroom it’s suddenly tasting fruity and ripe. Wow. For a second I almost thought this was new world. Amazing what happens when you suppress the acidity with food. Stood up to Epoisses cheese, took on a sugarpuff aroma I have got in other oaked Lux pinots. Slight short finish. Not the best matching I’ve had but works quite ok.
