Gall darn multi piece closure is a pain to remove. Wie is dark with some sediment. The nose is faintly but pleasantly fruity. In the mouth it is medium body, held up by pleasant tannin. I am underwhelmed by the concentration and complexity of the palate. Maybe a few more years are required.

This was delicious and still really early; the nose initially was almost over ripe dark fruits, but with about 30 minutes of air it freshened up to show more bing cherry, black raspberry, and red plum and alongside the fruit was a lovely floral and mineral aspect. The depth and balance were excellent and it finished quite in style. If anything this was early, but it was delicious and should easily have 20 years ahead.

Although not much sous bois and tertiary notes are developed, it …
