Wilhelm Bergmann Piesporter Michelsberg Riesling Auslese

Solid auslese, with some age. Screw cap. Perfect amount of sweetness, just enough complexity for the value for sure

Very pale straw color. Peach and melon notes with a hint of citrus and tropical (pineapple) on the nose. Very refreshing. Pineapple and melon carries over to the palette, with intense guava. Very tropical island like. Lots of fun and easy to drink with wonderful fruit/acid balance. Still preferred the 2009 Piesporter Goldtröpfchen Riesling Auslese but you can't go wrong with either. Amazing complexity at this low price point.
