Koval Whiskey Tasting (Chicago, Illinois, USA) : Also orangey-amber color (I'm starting to wonder). Meaty nose, with some vegetative notes. There's a steely graininess here, spiced up with cracked black peppercorns. This is extremely steely in texture through the palate. There are some peppery and exotically spicy flavors of lemongrass, ginger, and red chili peppers.
