Les Vignerons d'Estézargues Côtes du Rhône Terre de Mistral

Easy to drink. A bit sweet. An ok everyday wine.

This was a great surprising for me! For this low price I could never imagine such good quality. Medium-bodied blend offers ripe, red/dark fruit aromas, supple tannins and a fleshy mouthfeel. It has a 14.5% alcohol but that goes down smoothly. This is a definitely 90+ wine. 2010 vintage was really exceptional for the Cote du Rhone wines.

A taste the stands out.

Appearance: Light red with purple edges. Smell: Pleasant with raspberries, red pepper, canned cherries, black olives and ink. Taste: Surprisingly complex taste of cocoa, coffee, cherries and a bit minerality. Mild tannins that quickly vanish. A wonderful wine that I should get a few more bottles of.
