This dry Riesling (13% abv) evolves through stages of appealing simplicity. Nectarine dominates on day one, and the minerally but still nectarine-driven finish is longest toward the front of the tongue, even though this isn't sweet. Slight notes of lemon emerge and the wine is viscous and starchy like a cooked, dry egg yolk — something I've noticed in other dry Rieslings.
