Started out very smooth and somewhat uninteresting, but after an hour of air (no decant), this got its legs and REALLY impressed us. Structure emerged, along with some very nice Red Mountain tannins. Lots of blackberry and cassis fruit, with a ton of dusty earth and mocha. Great wine!

Great wine - decanted this time around.... big flavor with a ton of chalk and earth paired against rich red and black fruit. Will definitely pick up more.

Popped and poured. Intense purple-red color. Graphite, tar, red fruit, clay and some oak on the nose. Full of fruit on the palate with a nice dollop of ripe tannin to wrap it up. Solid wine.

Decanted one hour. Opaque red-garnet color. Effusive fruit-laden, spicy nose with no real complexity but nice balance. Moderately full and slightly tannic on the palate. An easy drink with just enough balance and intensity to make it outstanding.
