The labeling of wines as either Pinot Gris or Pinot Grigio in Australia often bears little resemblance to the style of wine contained inside the bottle! However, this wine is absolutely PG – punchy, with flavours of pears and some flowers on the nose, replicated on the palate. The wine is a little broad initially, but fresh acidity brings everything into check. Smooth and well made, with (for me) a slight phenolic grip at the end. Demands food!
