Bodegas Paso Robles Azul

New World version of a Portugese varietal blend. On nose: a basket of straw-,rasp-,boysen- and blue-....berries that is ..... On palate: all of the above with hints of mild Kona coffee and some traces of dark chocolate ....overall a very soft, full bodied and pleasant wine ....it clearly lacks any tannic backbone and should not be expected to age well .....drink now....food match at its best would be ribs, burgers and bbq flank steak.

Very nice red blend, perhaps a little overpriced for what it is. Red raspberry notes, medium acidity, medium finish.
