Decanted for one hour. Wine is medium bodied, mature, fruit driven and sweet and in general surprisingly good. Candidate for a high quality everyday wine. Had only one bottle, unfortunately.

Big, rough, chewy, lots of tannin, needs time, not as good as when previously tasted. Maybe because it was tasted against a lush, soft 2014 Pride Claret Reserve

Bordeaux 2018 - En Primeur in Australia (pyrmont wharf, sydney) : Medium minus intensity aromas of plums, chocolate, a bit of wet cardboard (?). Savoury, tight, gritty tannins, not much fruit. Nah.

Truffle, spice, sweet red plums and thyme are already starting to show. The wine is medium bodied, forward, soft and sweet. There is a nice soft feeling to the tannins and sweetness of fruit in the endnote.

Forward, medium-bodied, and easy to like, the fruit is fresh, ripe and sweet. There is a softness to the texture and a pleasant addition of licorice in the dark plum and cherry finish.
