I got lots of earthy notes with some blackberries and cherries mixed in. The tannins where strong right out of the bottle but after an hour in a decanter it opened up nicely.

Deep ruby. Aromas of medium + intensity of blackberry, bramble, black plums, toast, vanilla, decaying leaves. On the palate the wine is dry with medium acidity, medium + tannins somewhat green, medium alcohol, medium + body, and medium + intensity flavors on the palate of blackberry, bramble, black plums, toast, vanilla and cinnamon. The finish is short. The wine demonstrates intensity on the nose and palate as well as complexity. The wine is good and would drink now. Not suitable …
