Young, tight with dark matter here, tannic and even a wee bit roasted. #BenvenutoBrunello

Still needs time. This is drinkable but sharp and almost harsh. Still nice enough dark fruit and vanilla does poke through.

Garnet in glass. Cherry, balsam, underbrush and mint. High tannins with medium plus acidity. Needs time.

High quality and nice depth but needs time. Acidic and somewhat astringent with notes of black cherry and spice peaking through. Give it at least 5 years.

2015 Brunello di Montalcino, new releases (Montalcino centro) : Benvenuto Brunello 2020, Montalcino Absolutely stunning nose. Spice, earth, gilded red fruits. I'm in love. The palate is most certainly young, but this clearly (and already) has elegance and structure to spare. Perhaps more importantly, there's quite depth of flavor already, too. Drink 2024-2040.
