No decantation needed, it's ready to go. Outstanding experience. Concentrated and still mostly primary and secondary. It developed in the course of three ours and was always opulent and intense. This has still time to improve. Unfortunately it was my only bottle.

Gang of 4 in Covid19 times; Brunello (@ RW) : Beautiful bouquet with earth, autumn impressions, still some cherries, oak and graphite. On the palate the same impressions, firm and fresh acidity and slightly sticky tannin. Also some smoke, thyme and licorice. The tannin is still slightly sticky, so there is room for a few more years of ageing.

In fantastic shape from magnum right now. Sweeter than expected, very together / integrated. Full of red fruit. No sign of age at the edges. Could hold for a few more years in this bottle size.

This was medium dark and has aged into a beautiful earthy, warm wine. It had nice depth and length but somehow it just didn't thrill me like it did at 10 years old. I wish I had opened this bottle the night after drinking the first one.

Popped and poured. It started with youthfull fruit. After an hour the fruit faded and wood and tannins dominated. The longer the bottle was open the more the fruit came back. Eventually everything fell into its place. Beautifull wine.

Medium dark red. Very big, earthy, dark cherry nose. Not ripe but very intense. Great medium weight red fruit and earth flavours and a long dry finish. There is a lot here and it should continue to evolve and develop more complexity. At this point it is excellent + on it's way to outstanding.
