Heidelinde und Markus Lang Grüner Veltliner Fuchs und Dachs Riede Steiner Braunsdorfer

Similar to last note with some Granny Smith Apples Coming through on the palate. Interestingly I have some association with Albariño this time, too. Just amazing stuff.

PnP. This is very fresh and kind of dancing on your palate. Somewhere in the middle you get veltliner notes. Before that it’s more like albarinjo. At the end it reminds me of palos from Teneriffa. 11% alcohol make it eminently drinkable.

Wow, this is quite fascinating. I guess this GV can be quite controversial, and for lovers of the rich Smaragde from the millennium, this might be quite a disappointment. At just 11% alcohol, it delivers so much tension, length and excitement. The nose changes over the evening from more citrus with slight white pepper to more tropical and some stone fruit expressions over the course of the evening.
