Patel Proprietary Red

I tasted this with the winemaker today in Napa and I really liked it. Big, bold California Cab, well balanced, solid tannins - very nice effort from a relatively new producer.

This wine will go above a 94 rating with time. Having had the privilege of sampling it 3 times in the last 6 mo's, I can say that it [already] ranks with the very best I have ever tasted, even while still young in the bottle. My sample tastings have shown great, balanced fruit, solid tannins & firm structure. Great depth of flavor...and very much done in a Bordeaux style. Can easily cellar for 7-10 years, likely more.
