This was a jeroboam bottle purchased at auction in 2015, and the guest of honor at a dinner party we hosted with several wine-loving friends tonight. Very dark in the glass. dark smell of brisket, black olive and purple violet. Flavor lighter than looks and smells. Plum, blueberry, Chinese allspice. Still had plenty of life left in it. No need to rush.
