Weingut Steffen Prüm Wehlener Sonnenuhr Riesling Spätlese trocken

Deep lemon. Pronounced honey and hazelenut on the nose. On the palate medium acid, low alcohol, full body, more pronounced honey green apples, very sweet, has decent acid backing it up but not quite fully balanced, long finish.

Kerosene emerging, which lets the fruit really thrive. Nectarine, blood orange, lychee and apricot jam. This one dances on the tongue. Had with seared ahi and was excellent. I think this could pair with just about anything other than red wine or dessert.

Still fantastic. Slate still lively. Honey and lime very present. Starting to take on more of the petrol notes but very subtly. Excellent.

Off-dry, even a bit on the sweet side of that, but punctuated with great minerality. Doesn't need too much time to open up, and is just a stunningly good Mosel Riesling.

Semi-sweet. Paired reasonably well with Shrimp etouffee.
