Villa Maria Sauvignon Blanc The Society's New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc

Pale yellow. Light. The nose is bright and grassy. Very green grass. spicy. Palate - very full, grassy and rich. Good length. Lovely.

Light in colour; textbook mellow passion fruit and a hint of peach skin on the nose with some grassiness and tangy line coming through on the palate. Really good acidity. Robust mouthfeel. Pleasant lingering finish. The alcohol is spiking just a tad, but overall this is tasty, fresh and, unlike a lot of N.Z.S.B., it's good value too!
