decanted and served cool not cold. little on the nose, palate is textural with minerals. hints of tropical fruit and white flowers, but also of oak which we don't like in a chablis. felt like the oak was giving it structure compensating for lack of acidity - nothing steely here. 2nd day under vacuvin confirmed the suspicion. would be ok if sold as a Bourgogne, maybe a lesser village but not Chablis 1er Cru. *3rd day suddenly much improved. still …
