Very good chard from a premier vineyard. Fairly big with some good spice.

I would recommend to drink the wine as soon as possible. I think it is loosing from its body, floral notes and oak notes are only present at a hint. It gets a little bit better after a couple of hours contact to air. The taste is a little bit fuller than the nose. You can taste that the wine had a richness of flavors but is loosing them slowly.

Good nose of oak, vanilla some butter and hints of floral notes. Showing its age on the palate but still creamy with life left. Very enjoyable but I would drink sooner than later.

This is a fantastic Sonoma Russian River Valley chardonnay. Extremely well balanced with nice acidity, ripe citrus fruit, a slight creamy texture and a fairly long finish. After the creamy lemon front end slowly dissipates, there's a slight hint of butterscotch on the back of the tongue.

Light golden green in color, with shy citrus and lemon pie aromas. The palate shows delicate citrus, red apple, and a light buttercream note. Ripe, yet very feminine in style.

Pleasant chardonnay, in a oaky style. Drinks well now, might be a little better in a year.

Light and crisp, but not much else.

served at dinner party to guests who requested white wine ... they would typically prefer a pinot gris, but loved this chard. I had small taste with salad .... crisp, fresh and yet enough structure to make it interesting ... a great wine w/ lite courses. Very drinkable

This Chard has some white flowers, a little lime and some green apple on the nose. The palate continues these with the addition of some wet stones and vanilla in a light bodied wine that seems a little too simple and thin for my palate.

this was an enjoyable chard ... nothing like the Rued and a bit less interesting than the Ranch '09 ... still good, but i was spoiled w/ the '09

At the top of its game right now, four years from vintage. Really beautiful resolving oak notes. Cream soda, floral notes on the palate. Pollen-esque notes linger on a drawn out Med+ finish. Medium acid. Integrated, but not too mature. Fabulous. I'm jealous again.

Straw color. Nose: white peach, honeydew melon, lime, and Fuji apple with accents of white flowers, vanilla, smoky oak, chalk, and river stone. Medium body on the palate: white peach, honeydew melon, apple, and lime framed by vanilla, orange peel, smoky oak, and chalk. Medium+ acidity. Lingering chalk, apple skin, orange peel, and toothpick on the moderate finish. Marvelously complex with excellent balance. Drink over the next 3-4 years.

DG always does well with their Chards and Pinots; this one was just another fine example!
