Ripe grapefruit and lime predominate with hints of wet stone on the nose. On the palate there is exotic fruits, mainly mango and pineapple, as in the 2016 trocken**, but the acidity was slightly out of balance and the finish not as long.

Pizza & Riesling (Private Location) : Not a big difference in the flavor profile five months after I tasted the wine at the estate. Very spicy nose mixed with tons of herbs, wet stone and lemon. On the palate this wine shows so much balance & calmness. Lovely mineral kick in the end. Lots of potential left.
