Viña Requingua Toro de Piedra Gran Reserva Carménère Cabernet

Reasonably deep crimson core; a little closed on the nose, some blackcurrant leaf and ripe fruits glimpsing through; full and rich on the palate with a decent core of ripe red and black fruits. Some Carmenere character here too. A big mouthful of fruit. Very smooth and easily enjoyable. Moderate acidity carries things along. Toasty spice on the finish.
