Draaiboek Wines Chardonnay Onskuld

The nose here is quite a beauty. Lemon oil, slight reduction, flowers, savory. The palate is a bit riper than the nose suggests but not overdone. Still quite a sleek wine, oak more for texture than flavor, good acidity. Impressive length. A seriously good Chardonnay and I'd say very good QPR. 17/20

Walkabout tasting, no detailed notes. The three Chardonnay I had were fresh and attractive, albeit with a different aroma profile than a Cote de Beaune. Less toast, less reduction, more slate, mint aromas, touch of phenolics too. Hard to say what was wine-making and what terroir. Definitely worth a try though.
