Boordy Vineyards Chardonnay Reserve

Incredibly tropical nose for the variety, it wafts massive honeysuckle, pineapple and mango with a paraffin wax and vanilla backbone. It's medium bodied on the palate, round and quite plush with vanillin acid. It's dominated by caramel green apple with Meyer lemon, straw, bay leaf and white pepper undertones. As this takes on extended air, it really opens up and broadens to fill the mouth. A nice, high quality chardonnay from Maryland with enough intrigue to warrant its reserve moniker
