Unexceptional, actually a bit disappointing given the producer. A decent bottle with basic aglianico characteristics, with a clean, dark and ripe fruit nose but subdued flavors along the same lines. Medium bodied, middling finish. No appreciable "barolo of the south" tarry richness, but did get better by the second day.
